Tenure Track Faculty Position for Chemical Engineers,

Material Scientists or Chemists in the field of Desalination and Water Treatment,

The Zuckerberg Institute for Water Research at the Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research (BIDR), Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU), invites applications with background in some of the following disciplines: material science (materials synthesis and characterization in organic or inorganic chemistry), chemical engineering or chemistry for a tenure track faculty positions in the Department of Desalination and Water Treatment.

Priority will be given to candidates with background in one or more of the following: Process development for brackish, surface, groundwater, seawater and waste treatment; materials science or engineering that could lead to development of novel water treatment media (such as membranes and adsorbents); surface science and physical chemistry of scaling, fouling and biofouling phenomena and their prevention; electrochemical phenomena and processes, modeling; adaptation of novel methods in membrane studies, membrane catalysis.

Applicants must possess a Ph.D. degree and have appropriate post-doctoral or faculty experience and demonstrate research productivity.
